Audacity Help: Recording Voice in Audacity in the Language Labs

• This is a help document for using Audacity in the JHU Language Labs

Download LAME encoder

• This is a zip file that contains the lame DLL file that you need in order to 'Export as Mp3' in Audacity. Save this file to your hard drive, then un-zip it into your c:\Program Files\Audacity\ folder on your hard drive.

Download Purevoice

• Download PureVoice

German iPod Flash Cards

• Download the German iPod flash cards. You will need to open the zipped file, and then drag each unit folder into the playlists in iTunes. You can e-mail Jesse.warford@jhu.edu if you need additional assistance.

Get Audacity!

• This will take you to the download page on the Audacity website. Make sure you get the "Lame MP3 Encoder" that is available under "Optional Downloads".

Secrets of Learning a Foreign Language

• Audio files and associated manual. These files are only available from within the language lab.
